Dungeon of Dudael is a secret cathedral discovered in a remote region of the Kingdom of Mocerd, apparently dating back to ancient times. Inside Dungeon of Dudael is a mysterious space - apparently crafted with specific intentions - where ancient debris and sacred treasures as well as the precious stone Blood Crystal have been discovered, all seemingly part of an ancient civilization or divine creation. The discovery has allowed for a rapid development of civilization in the Kingdom of Mocerd.

The Nightmare Caused by Dungeon of Dudael

Dungeon of Dudael also became the source of a terrible evil. Horrifying monsters emerged from the holes one after another, attacking human settlements, surrounding villages, and sometimes the royal capital, all of which were reduced to piles of rubble and ashes. People considered sealing off Dungeon of Dudael to counter the threat of the monsters, but they were not willing to make the choice of returning to the world that existed before the discovery of the Blood Crystal. As a result, the Kingdom of Mocerd and its people were left living with Dungeon of Dudael open, along with the creatures that inhabit the dungeon.

From their experience, guildmasters know that the deeper into the dungeon the adventure manages to reach in one single attempt, the more Blood Crystal they will get. Moreover, the closer they get to the bottom of the dungeon, the stronger the monsters become. Guildmasters are therefore incentivized to use Blood Crystal to strengthen qualified adventurers and also enhance the overall capabilities of their party for further exploration into the dungeon.

Monster Attributes and Party Formation

Depending on the difficulty associated with each stage of the dungeon, the attributes of the monsters will change. As a result, guildmasters are encouraged to invite a diverse group of adventurers to their guilds and structure their group while taking into account each adventurer's characteristics. Additionally, the status of each adventurer must be reviewed - and refreshed if necessary - after a completion of each quest to ensure consistency in their performance.

Treasure chests and Traps

For adventurers, the rewards for venturing into the dungeon are provided in the forms of Blood Crystal and treasure chests. treasure chests might include a variety of items - some may fetch high prices in the marketplace whereas others can be used to enhance the capabilities of adventures when they set out for dungeon exploration. However, many treasure chests contain traps, and guildmasters must be able to make smart decisions on how much they are willing to spend when acquiring treasure chests to minimize the potential damage caused by those traps.

Failure to avoid traps can result in serious damage to adventurers as well as the total loss of treasure chests.
