⚖️Game Balance Optimization

Optimizing the game balance is a very important factor for the sustainable operation of Eternal Crypt - Wizardry BC - and for providing a pleasant game environment. While the customization of Adventurer NFTs, Legacy Items, and Skill Tree allows for a wide variety of strategies, their combination can create unforeseen and excessive effects. In addition to game balance, the token economy of Eternal Crypt - Wizardry BC must maintain an appropriate balance between the amount of $BC tokens and various NFTs in circulation.

For this reason, Eternal Crypt - Wizardry BC - is operated under the assumption that periodic balance adjustments will be made after the official release of the game in order to optimize the game balance to ensure the sustainability of the game operation and the provision of a pleasant game environment. These balance adjustments are intended to correct unforeseen over- or under-balancing.

In addition, the $BC tokens that can be earned by forming a party of Adventurer NFTs when "Return to Town" may be adjusted in the following numerical positions to properly maintain the status of the token economy.

Economy Balance Coefficient

  • The inverse of [the amount of BC tokens released from adventurer NFTs with 1% or more Alchemical Power] / [the amount of BC released that is acceptable in the game's economy].

  • The default setting is 1, but if this balance falls below 1, the Economy Balance Coefficient will be adjusted as a measure to improve the balance.

  • If the Economy Balance Coefficient is changed to less than 1, the amount of tokens earned when returning to the city will be reduced.

  • At the same time, adjustments will be made to reduce the amount of Adventurer NFTs in circulation.

  • Short-term adjustments may also be made in cases where significant local progress is expected, such as when new features are added.

Floor Progress Impact

  • If the floor progress of guildmasters participating in Eternal Crypt - Wizardry BC - deviates significantly from expectations, adjustments may be made.

  • Floor progress may be overestimated or underestimated, and in either case, adjustments may be made to the expected range of values.

  • Adjustments may also be made if the floor progress balance changes significantly due to the addition of new features.

Maximum floor progress limit

  • The number of floors progressed since the deepest floor reached affects the amount of BC earned, but from the perspective of maintaining the balance of BC generated, a maximum floor progress limit will be set so that once a certain amount of floor progress is achieved, the amount of BC earned will not increase with any further floor progress.

  • The current maximum floor progress is 250 rooms.
